Parvatiben Muljibhai Madhvani Girls’ School (PMM Girls’ School) is a government-aided girls’ day school located in Jinja, Uganda. Founded in 1958, the school has a rich history of academic excellence and empowerment for young women.
The school was established by an Indian philanthropist from the renowned Madhvani family. Initially, it was named Jinja Girls’ School and was exclusively for Indian girls, reflecting the community’s strong emphasis on education.

During the presidency of Idi Amin Dada, significant changes took place in Uganda, including in the education sector. It was during this time that African students were allowed to enroll in the school, marking a new era of inclusivity and diversity.
Since then, PMM Girls’ School has continued to uphold its legacy of providing quality education to girls from all backgrounds. It remains a symbol of resilience, growth, and the power of education in transforming lives.
